What, Hameln? There was the first library I raided as a little child, and later returned for a 6 month internship that was required during my studies to become a librarian. Loved it, very fond memories.

Here's the first in a series of 2 part videos. The first video of each song will show the guitar or piano parts in slow motion (live) and with some explanation. The second video will be a recorded version of the guitar or piano with the flute improvised over the harmony instrument. The flute, when it is recorded for the CD will be different because it is all improvised. Sometimes I play three or four tracks and then mix the best of the takes together. If I'm lucky, I can keep most of one track. that happens now and again. (I ain't no Chet Atkins).

Here's a little preview of the flute album I'm recording.
Some pieces will be classically oriented and will feature only piano and flute. There will also be some with only picked acoustic guitar and flute. In addition there will be several compositions fully produced with drums, keyboards, bass and the whole nine yards. No, I'm leaving the elephants and the lions out of it ;-).
